On Tuesday, November 5 San Jose City Council will discuss another motion to cut funding for much-needed affordable homes. Will you join us at the City Council meeting to urge councilmembers to stand up for renting families and not divert this money to luxury real estate developers?
We believe that San Jose families should feel safe and secure in their homes and communities – but in reality tens of thousands of families are either being displaced or are at risk of displacement because of the severe shortage of affordable homes.
Yet Mayor Sam Liccardo plans to pass yet more cuts to affordable housing – and will siphon millions of dollars that should go towards building more affordable homes into the pockets of luxury real estate developers instead.
Can you add your voice and help protect affordable housing by joining us next Tuesday to stand up for renters at San Jose City Hall?
