Silicon Valley Rising

San Jose Google Survey

Google is in negotiations with the City of San Jose to build a new mega-campus around Diridon Station in downtown San Jose.

This project will transform our city, bringing up to 20,000 employees, plus an estimated 8,000-10,000 cafe workers, janitors, shuttle drivers, security officers, and other subcontracted service workers. Google's arrival could worsen our housing crisis and create more poverty service jobs — or it can be a new model for inclusive tech development.
