Last month, 300 people shared their hopes and concerns for Google’s proposed San Jose mega-campus at our first community-led town hall.
Now it’s time to continue shaping our vision for the project. Join us for the second town hall meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Google’s arrival will transform San Jose, bringing up to 20,000 employees, plus an estimated 8,000-10,000 cafe workers, janitors, shuttle drivers, security officers, and other subcontracted service workers. This project could worsen our housing crisis and create more poverty service jobs — or it can be a new model for inclusive tech development.
With our communities at the table, we can shape this project so our families thrive as Google grows.
Snacks, childcare, and Spanish/Vietnamese translation available.
Can't make it to the town hall? Sign up here and we'll send you a link to the livestream when it's up.
